Married Under Winter Skies: Alaina & John’s Phipps Conservatory & Bontanical Garden Wedding

As another beautiful wedding season comes to a close, and I begin to look ahead to cozy days spent celebrating the holidays with family and friends in the weeks to come, I’ve been taking some time for one of my favorite annual traditions: revisiting my favorite images from this year’s sessions.

This year brought a particularly special milestone for me as I photographed my first ever Pittsburgh wedding as an actual Pennsylvanian myself!

Alaina and John hosted a beautifully intimate wedding day with their very closest family and friends at the gorgeous Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden and said their I do’s surrounded by greenery and flowers with the sun peeking through wisps of February clouds.

Today we had our first snow of the year here in NW PA, and so I thought it the perfect time to share this beautiful wintery wedding. Take a peek for yourself––I adored Alaina’s stunning embroidered dress and John’s velvet tuxedo jacket, not to mention the gorgeous custom fur-lined cape Alaina wore to keep warm in the winter landscape!
